Warranty

Stratus Roofing warrants to the property owner that the roof installation will be free of defects in workmanship for a period of 5 years. Should a failure occur due to defects in workmanship, Stratus Roofing will repair such issues at no cost to the homeowner.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original property owner. The property owner must notify Stratus Roofing within 24 hours of discovering a problem.

All warranty-related repairs must be performed by Stratus Roofing unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

 • Normal wear and tear
 • Ice damming
 • Condensation or improper ventilation
 • Hail storms, tornados, or other severe weather
 • Foreign objects or “Acts of God”
 • Pre-existing or unrepaired skylights not replaced during the project
 • Cracked or deteriorated masonry, mortar, stucco, chimney caps, siding, soffit, or fascia

The property owner is responsible for keeping the roof, gutters, and downspouts free of excessive ice and debris to ensure proper drainage. Issues caused by lack of maintenance are not covered under this warranty.

This warranty is provided in lieu of all other expressed or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and is limited to the 5-year duration specified.

Stratus Roofing shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, or special damages of any kind, including interior or exterior building damage, or replacements not authorized in writing or performed by Stratus Roofing.
